Music

Music is a very beautiful auditory form of art which, as the old Varèse adage goes, is composed of organised sound. Traditionally, music is composed on and performed by instruments, whether as part of the human body or external devices based on plucking, fingering, percussive action, and so on - although the rise of recordings? in the 20th century has largely expanded the notion of what music can be, including removing its creation and performance from the literal dimension of time.
